A seven night exploration of the picturesque islands off the west coast of Scotland aboard our classic sailing boat. The west coast of Scotland is a fantastic cruising ground due to its teaming wildlife and many choices of scenic harbours and anchorages. Our experienced skipper will choose the route and ports of call around these beautiful islands to make use of the wind for the best sailing and scenery. Contact us to book:

Boarding the Swan at 10am in Stornoway, Isle of Lewis, your stay will begin with a comprehensive safety briefing including how to work the lines on deck and set the sails. We will then put this into practice and commence our voyage.

With stunning scenery, anchorages and ports, there is no shortage of places to sail. Therefore, to allow us to make the most of the weather, our itinerary will be set by the skipper at the time, giving the best sail for all on board.

Due to the nature of the area, daily mileages will be relatively short and less exposed to extreme weather, making this trip suitable for novice, as well as more experienced, sailors. Although if weather and swell conditions allow, and those aboard would like to visit St Kilda, the skipper may consider adding this to the itinerary.

Your voyage will end back in Stornoway, disembarking 10am on Monday 20th June.

A voyage on Swan is very much a hands-on experience - you are part of her crew, and work as a team to make your voyage happen. All tasks are shared and everyone joins in, from the most to the least experienced. For more details of what to expect on board please refer to our Welcome Aboard leaflet.
