We are pleased to announce that we will be working with the highly accomplished Shetland musician and sailor Barry Nisbet to deliver his Sessions and Sail experience in Shetland for the first time. With Covid postponing this trip for 2 years, we are certainly looking forward to welcoming Barry and his passengers aboard for a musical masterclass!

Sessions and Sail welcomes musicians of any ability, with musical sessions and masterclasses taking place on board and ashore, and some fantastic sailing and scenery in between.

Boarding in Lerwick, your trip will begin with a safety briefing before sailing from Lerwick to a nice anchorage for an evening onboard getting to know your fellow passengers. In the following days you will sail to different local areas with workshops/sessions in the afternoons/evenings.

While the Shetland Folk Festival programme is still to be announced, we also hope to take in a Folk Festival concert on the Thursday night. After your last night onboard, you will sail to Lerwick on the Friday to disembark.

As part of the Sessions & Sail experience, an onboard cook will prepare all your meals with fresh local produce. So all you have to do is enjoy the sailing and musical experience.
