Join us on a sailing adventure around the range of beautiful islands off the coast of Scalloway, Shetland’s ancient capital.
Boarding the Swan at 9.30am, your day will begin with a comprehensive safety briefing including how to work the lines on deck and set the sails. We will then put this into practice, enjoying getting hands-on with the sailing as you explore the fantastic range of small isles around the coast of Scalloway.
While our exact itinerary will make the best use of the weather, and wind, on the day, we will sail around many of the beautiful islands in this area, which may include: Hildasay, Havera, Langa, Linga, Cheynies, Oxna, Papa and Green Holm.
You will be well entertained during your trip by taking an active role in sailing the Swan, including hauling on ropes, taking a turn on the helm, and keeping a lookout, as well as spotting all the wildlife on offer.
We will anchor in a sheltered spot to enjoy a well earned lunch of soup and sandwiches before taking in some more of Shetland’s spectacular coastlines on our way back to Scalloway to disembark at 4.30pm.
