Board in Scalloway on Thursday 29 April at 10:00 / Disembark in Lerwick on Sunday 2 May at 16:00

Your adventure will begin with a comprehensive safety briefing including how to work the lines on deck and getting hands-on with the sailing as you head out on a discovery of beautiful bays and quiet coastlines only seen from the sea.

As with all sea voyages, the exact route and timings will be dependent on the weather and the decision of the skipper. You will sail down the southwest coast of Shetland on route to Fair Isle, and return past Sumburgh Head, Mousa, and along the southeast coast of Shetland back to Lerwick.

Provided we are permitted by weather to reach Fair Isle, you will have an opportunity to explore the island and take in some of the sights, including the iconic lighthouse.

A voyage on Swan is very much a hands-on experience - you are part of her crew, and work as a team to make your voyage happen. All tasks are shared and everyone joins in, from the most to the least experienced. For more details of what to expect on board please refer to our Welcome Aboard Leaflet.
