Join us for a North Sea crossing from the UK to the Netherlands, disembarking in Den Helder as its Tall Ships Races host port celebrations begin. This 6 day trip allows plenty of time to relax and explore Danish coasts and ports, before we sail into Den Helder with the Tall Ships fleet preparing to take part in The Tall Ships Races 2023.

Boarding Anstruther Harbour 7pm, 23rd June
Disembarking Den Helder 3pm, 29th June

Your trip will begin in Anstruther, home to the Scottish Fisheries Museum, and end in Den Helder, a 2023 Tall Ships Races Host Port.

Boarding in the evening, weather depending, we may anchor in a bay for the night or go straight into night watches on our North Sea crossing. Once across the North Sea, you will know your crew mates well and we will have time to relax and enjoy exploring the coast and ports on our way to Den Helder, where you will disembark as their host port celebrations begin.

The Tall Ships Races is an annual event, which sees tall ships from all over the world come together to celebrate international friendship and understanding. A large family friendly event, each of the five host ports provide a range of events and activities over the 4 days the fleet is in port. You will disembark in Den Helder on the first day of their events, 29th June, with local celebrations lasting until the parade of sail, as the fleet leave port to begin the first race on 2nd July.

Having hosted the Races on five previous occasions, Den Helder is an experienced host port. To find out more about their celebrations, visit their website.
