Visit Shetland Museum & Archives, sitting on the historic Hay's Dock - first launch location of Swan 125 years ago!
The anniversary exhibition will tell the story of 125 years of history - and the importance of the future for this iconic boat.
More details will be added of evening talks to be held giving more detail on the technical operations, restoration and new lease of life as a successful sail training vessel.
The exhibition will be on display in the Briggistanes area of the Museum, off the foyer. Entry is free. The museum is open 10am - 4pm, Monday to Saturday and 12noon to 5.00pm on Sunday. (from 1st May)
The exhibition will officially open at 10.00am on Saturday 3rd May - Trustees will be in attenance to welcome visitors and share their memories of the boat between 10.00am and 12.00noon.
There will be a public open day on board Swan at Hay's Dock on Sunday 4th May from 10.00am to 4.00pm.
