Explore the beauty of the Norwegian coast while en route to Bergen. You may pop into Kristiansand, or take the dog-leg around into Stavanger, or perhaps you and your crewmates will prefer the quieter options of the many safe and secluded anchorages Norway has to offer. There will be a variety of interesting and exciting options on your way north.
The Swan is a sail training vessel, and as such you will take your turn on the helm, stand watch with the rest of your watch-mates, adjusting sails and doing safety checks, usually on a 4 hour on – 8 hour off watch system. You will also help out with domestic tasks such as cooking and cleaning. Everyone mucks in, from skipper to first-timer, and from the most to the least experienced. This will give you a strong sense of accomplishment and achievement – you are part of what makes your voyage happen, and your efforts will have a positive effect on the rest of the crew onboard.
After your trip you can either make your own way home or take advantage of our special discounted price of £200 for our voyage to Lerwick which includes the Bergen Parade of Sail.
