Trust Seeks Marketing Trustee

Keeping the boat maintained and in a safe, seaworthy state is only part of the Trust’s role. Sharing the maritime heritage behind Swan and enabling inclusive volunteering opportunities for all is also a very important part of the Trustee responsibilities.

Assisted by part-time paid staff and seasonal summer crew, Trustees are there to lead, control and supervise the organisation’s activities.

Trustees meet on the first Tuesday of each month, either in person or by video conference.

This is not a paid role, but out of pocket expenses can be reimbursed as appropriate.

Many Trustees have a specific area of interest they are able to provide practical assistance with to support the Trust - on and off the water. This could include on-board maintenance tasks, crewing with required qualifications, giving talks to special interest groups or marketing activities.

The Trust is particularly keen to receive applications from those with interest and experience in marketing and promotional activities.
