Swan will sail to Faroe for the Island Games in July 2027 and the chance is open now to charter the whole boat for your group to have the perfect supporters trip to cheer on Team Shetland.
Leaving Lerwick on Wednesday 30th June to arrive in Tórshavn by Friday 2nd July, you will be berthed in the main harbour in the capital city.
The Games begin on Saturday 3rd for a week, concluding on Friday 9th, after which you will have a final day to spend in the city enjoying the atmosphere before setting sail back to Lerwick, to arrive home on Tuesday 13th July.
Chartering Swan for this trip ensures your group can enjoy hassle free return travel to Faroe, accommodation in the heart of the city while there, and all meals on board. The Skipper will take care of your immigration paperwork, though you may be required to attend the police station or immigration office on arrival and prior to departure for electronic fingerprint scans due to new rules introduced this year.
Tickets for events and any additional 'refreshments' you may wish to purchase will be additional personal expenses. Travel insurance is also recommended.
No previous sailing experience is required - our trained crew will provide all safety and sailing instructions. Sailing on Swan is always a hands on experience and you will take your turn at taking the helm, hauling the ropes, standing watch and preparing meals. As with any sailing trip, the exact timings and departure / arrivals will be subject to weather conditions.
